Grenada

Just got back from a trip to Grenada, West Indies. Steve went down there for a class and I just went down there for fun and some adventures. I have never been overseas or anything like that. Here a some pictures from the trip

Finally all moved

As of July 30 we are officially moved out of the Penrose house. It only took 6 months to move everything. We still have our trailer and one of the sheds full of stuff. The new tenants moved in that day so we kind of had to get everything out. We left a few things for them to use. We were still cleaning and getting stuff into bins when they arrived. They did help load the last of the stuff into the truck for us.

Now we just have to find places for everything. We do have more room to store things in Canon City then in Penrose.

If you notice that this house is different then the house in previous posts. It is different. We actually traded that house for this house. It took them awhile to get all the paper work together and to sign over everything. We actually didn't get done until the end of April. Buying this house took about three months to do. By that time all my stuff from Colorado Springs was at the other house. I had help moving all that to the new house. The houses are right next door to each other. It wasn't that difficult. I didn't realize how much stuff I had until then. But then again I didn't really realize how much stuff Steve had. Can't believe we are done moving. I will post post pictures of the inside when every is more settled. Hopefully in the next few months.

Wedding is in 8 days

I know that last time I said that I was getting married on November 6 but we changed it. It was too much to do in so little time and plus I wanted my brother Scott to be here for the occasion and he wouldn't be able to make it in November. Scott told me that he could probably come out in January. Steve and I changed the day to January 15, 2011. Is it actually getting closer and closer by the day. I am scrambling to get stuff done. I only have a handful of stuff left to get done so I can breathe a little bit. I just cannot believe that I am actually getting married to a wonderful guy that makes me laugh. My best friend Stephanie is flying out from MN this coming Thursday. When she is finally here the whole bridal party will be intact. Scott and Steve's sister Carol and nieces Sariah and Beth are all flying in on Friday. Plus my parents are driving from AZ on Tuesday.


After Steve and I get married I am moving in with him in his house in Penrose while we get the Canon City house ready for us to move in. It might not be until the end on January to middle of February until we get to move. Luckily Tami has told me that I could keep some stuff where it is for the time being until she moves out and marries Ed in April. Big changes are happening this year.
